We take responsibility for how we affect our environment and the climate. Ecological sustainability includes our energy consumption and what has to do with the operation of the facility, e.g. purchases, consumables, waste and transport. Yasuragi is a Nordic Ecolabelled facility.
Yasuragi is operated completely free of fossil fuels. Self-produced solar energy, ground and air heat pump, purchased electricity from sun, wind and water and a small amount of locally produced biodiesel in the form of pine oil are used for the operation. We have a high ambition to constantly expand our range of products that are produced as sustainably as possible. This applies to everything from consumables to material selection in our building. When you visit us as a guest, you have access to our own Nordic Swan-labeled series of body products.
n collaboration with beeurban.se, we have our own beehive, which produces honey we sell in our store. A way for us to contribute at least a little to the preservation of biological diversity. Did you know that about 1/3 of the food we eat has been pollinated by bees and bumblebees.
We at Yasuragi want to inspire and tell you what we do on Circular Monday (the Monday after Black Friday). Briefly explained, Circular Monday is a Swedish initiative to encourage sharing more and consuming less in order to achieve a more circular consumption that is gentle on both the wallet and the planet.
