Ecological Sustainability

Experience sustainability along with Japanese bathing culture

We take responsibility for how we impact our environment and climate. The ecological sustainability includes our energy consumption and everything related to the operation of the facility, such as purchases, consumables, waste, and transport. Yasuragi is an ecolabelled facility.

Energy from the sun, wind, water and the rock

Yasuragi is operated completely free from fossil fuels. The operation uses self-produced solar energy, geothermal and air heat pumps, purchased electricity from solar, wind, and water sources, as well as a small amount of locally produced biodiesel in the form of pine oil. Read more in detail about the different energy solutions below.

Products that measure up

We have a high ambition to constantly expand our range of products that are produced as sustainably as possible. This applies to everything from consumables to material choices in our building. When you visit us as a guest, you have access, among other things, to our own Swan-labeled series of body products.

Circular Monday, not Black Friday

We at Yasuragi want to inspire and share what we do on Circular Monday (the Monday after Black Friday). In short, Circular Monday is a Swedish initiative to encourage more sharing and less consumption in order to achieve a more circular consumption that is gentle on both the wallet and the planet.
