Our energy sources

Own Solar Energy

asuragi has an agreement with the Swedish solar developer Alight, which operates the solar power facility installed on our roofs with a total capacity of 129 kW. The installation produces approximately 109 MWh of green solar electricity annually, corresponding to the household electricity consumption of about 22 single-family homes, roughly 7.9 million fully charged iPhones, or around 1,350 full charges for a Tesla car. The green electricity generated by the solar installation is used directly in our property's operations. The solar panels are estimated to save about 9 tons of CO2 annually.

DELTA LIFT ENERGY

Yasuragi operates an energy system using DLE technology (Delta Lift Energy), which contributes to significantly lower fossil fuel consumption compared to the previous oil-based solution. The system reduces the need for added oil by approximately 300 m³ per year, corresponding to roughly 95% of the former oil consumption. Electricity consumption remains largely unchanged, while the estimated greenhouse gas impact decreases by approximately 807 tons of CO₂ per year compared to the previous energy setup. The solution is based on a combination of geothermal energy and air-source heat, using CO₂ (R744) as a refrigerant.

Sun, Wind and Water

In addition, we purchase electricity from the energy company Nordic Green Energy. This energy mix consists of 100% renewable electricity from solar, wind, and hydro power.
