Food & Drink
Cross-border culinary experiences
Bold flavours, open flames and Japanese minimalism. At Yasuragi, Japanese gastronomy meets Nordic simplicity, topped occasionally with an international twist. Choose between elegant à la carte at Minamo, flame-grilled flavour experiences at Teppanyaki Kiri and spankingly fresh fish at Sushibar Namiyama. Slake your thirst in our cocktail bar with creative cocktails and, during the sunny days of summer, enjoy food, drink and stunning views from our roof terrace, with panoramic views over the Stockholm archipelago.
You don’t need to be a spa guest to visit our restaurants - everyone’s welcome to come and enjoy good food and drinks with us.

Common questions about
Food & Drinks
We have three different Japanese-inspired restaurants and you choose a package based on the restaurant you want to dine in. It is also possible to simply book a table. Here you can find answers to questions about Food & Drink at Yasuragi.
-
What food is included in the packages?
In all our overnight packages, breakfast is included and in most cases, dinner is included. In day packages, lunch is included, and if you wish, you can add breakfast and start the day with a delightful breakfast buffet. Dinner is included in evening packages.
-
Can I wear my own clothes in the restaurant?
Yes, you are free to wear your own clothes in our restaurants. If you’ve booked a package, you’ll receive a yukata – a traditional Japanese cotton robe – to wear during your stay, just like at a Japanese onsen. You’ll mainly wear your yukata while in the Japanese bath, during activities, or when you’ve booked a treatment.
For meals, it’s your choice whether to wear your yukata or your own clothes.
We kindly encourage you to wear your yukata to breakfast to help create a calm and relaxing morning atmosphere for all our guests.
-
How do you handle food allergies?
Our breakfast buffet and menus are labelled with the 14 ingredients/food groups known to cause the most serious allergic reactions, in accordance with the requirements of the Swedish Food Agency.
If you have other food allergies, please contact us in advance to check whether we can accommodate your needs. We do not make exceptions to the menu based on specific diets or lifestyle choices.
-
Is all food vegetarian?
We strive for a food culture that is as sustainable as possible. That’s why our menus always include vegetarian options, although we also serve fish, poultry, and, to a limited extent, red meat. For the sake of the environment and your health, we encourage you to try our plant-based dishes. Please see our menus for current offerings.
Japanese Food & Drink at Yasuragi
We serve food inspired by modern Japanese cuisine. The menu combines clear flavors with Japanese techniques in an aesthetic expression. A journey for all the senses.
We are what we eat is a familiar expression. There is more truth to it than one might think. The food we eat not only affects our health but also our climate. For the planet's survival, it's important that we make sustainable choices and eat more greens and less, but good quality, meat. For those who want to go all the way and make a sustainable choice, we always offer completely plant-based, vegan, options.
The food at Yasuragi is based on Japanese cuisine, which has been shaped by several principles. These include the care for the various season's produce, the care for the aesthetic visual impression, the proximity to the sea, and the heritage of Zen Buddhism. Several basic ingredients used in Japanese culinary art have been borrowed from the neighboring country China, such as bean paste (miso), soy sauce, tea, and rice.
The basic ingredients in Japanese cooking are rice, fish, dried seaweed (konbu; ingredient in clear broth - dashi) and soybeans (used for tofu and bean paste miso). Common flavorings are ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi. It is also important that the ingredients are fresh so they can vary depending on the season, which also makes it more sustainable.
At Yasuragi, you have three restaurants to choose from. Enjoy Japanese food in Stockholm in our à la carte Restaurant Minamo with a view over Stockholm's inlet. In our exclusive teppanyaki restaurant Teppanyaki Kiri, you can enjoy a seasonal six-course menu prepared by your own chef on site. Last but not least, you can have something warm, cold, or sweet at Izakaya Nagi - next to the Japanese bath. Take a dip and then sit down to enjoy delightful sushi and a combination of flavorful dishes with refreshing thirst-quenchers.
