At Yasuragi, we aim to run a business that contributes to a more sustainable world, where the well-being of animals and nature, economically functioning systems, and human welfare go hand in hand. Our primary focus is to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and for that, we need to generate revenue. But that doesn’t mean it’s the only thing we care about. On the contrary. With increased revenue, we can invest in more and better products that benefit our planet.
We promise our guests that here, they can unwind, reconnect with their energy, and return home feeling renewed. We know that people who have more energy and a stronger connection to their inner selves are also more likely to do good—for themselves and for the world around them.
Sustainability at Yasuragi
The operations at Yasuragi aim to contribute to and encourage a more sustainable lifestyle on multiple levels. It is together with you as our guest and our partners that we can truly make a difference. Positively influencing people is a very important and powerful tool for us in creating a sustainable world.
We take responsibility for how we impact the environment and the climate. Ecological sustainability includes our energy consumption and all aspects related to the operation of our facility, such as procurement, consumables, waste, and transportation. Yasuragi is a Nordic Swan Ecolabel-certified facility.
We take responsibility for ensuring that our guests and employees feel as well as possible. We are also keen that our suppliers comply with laws, agreements and ethical rules. We collaborate with the foundation Ett Hjärtligt Värmdö, whose purpose is to unite the local community, businesses, and the municipality to jointly create opportunities for meaningful leisure activities. Yasuragi also collaborates with Min Stora Dag. We work with two types of social sustainability. Internal - Yasuragi as a workplace and External - Yasuragi as a company.
