Social sustainability
A world where we take care of each other
We take responsibility for ensuring that our guests and employees feel as good as possible. We also make sure that our suppliers comply with laws, agreements, and ethical rules. Yasuragi collaborates with Min Stora Dag and the foundation Ett Hjärtligt Värmdö. We work with two types of social sustainability. Internally – Yasuragi as a workplace and Externally - Yasuragi as a business.
A Warm Welcome to Värmdö
Yasuragi collaborates with the foundation Ett Hjärtligt Värmdö whose purpose is to bring together local residents, businesses, and the municipality to create conditions for a meaningful leisure time. The foundation aims to provide children and families living in Värmdö municipality, who are in financial or social need, with the opportunity to meet their own or their children's needs in terms of recreational, educational, medical, cultural, musical, sports, and other fulfilling items.

My big day
Yasuragi has a partnership with the organization Min Stora Dag. A nationwide charity organization whose mission is to fulfill wishes and spread life-saving joy to children with serious illnesses and diagnoses. We do this for thousands of children every year through experiences we call Big Days. A Big Day gives strength to continue to fight in a tough everyday life. Yasuragi contributes with stays at Yasuragi for children who wish for a spa experience or particularly like the Japanese culture. Sometimes it's just a wish to have peaceful time together with their family or friends.

UNHCR
During December 2022, Yasuragi donated to UNHCR's work for refugees in Ukraine and in the same month of 2023 started a fundraiser in support of UNHCR's efforts to provide education to children on the run.
Christmas Gift Help Värmdö
Yasuragi supports every Christmas Christmas Gift Help Värmdö. There are families who do not have the money to buy Christmas gifts for their children. Christmas Gift Help Värmdö is a non-profit group that mediates Christmas gifts in Värmdö municipality with the aim of facilitating and contributing to a better Christmas for economically disadvantaged families. Yasuragi contributes by giving some selected families a relaxing stay with us.
