We take responsibility for ensuring that our guests and employees feel as well as possible. We are also keen that our suppliers comply with laws, agreements and ethical rules. Yasuragi also collaborates with Min Stora Dag and the 2022/2023 donation to UNHCR. We work with two types of social sustainability. Internal - Yasuragi as a workplace and External - Yasuragi as a company.
Yasuragi supports the Christmas Gift Aid Värmdö every Christmas. There are families who do not have money to buy Christmas presents for their children. Julklappshjälpen Värmdö is a non-profit group that provides Christmas gifts in Värmdö municipality with the aim of facilitating and contributing to a better Christmas for financially vulnerable families. Yasuragi contributes by giving a few selected families a relaxing stay with us.
In December 2022, Yasuragi donated to UNHCR's work for refugees in Ukraine and in the same month of 2023 started a fundraiser in favor of UNHCR's work to provide refugee children with access to education.
Yasuragi has a collaboration with the organization Min Stora Dag. A nationwide charity whose mission is to fulfill wishes and spread vital joy to children with serious illnesses and diagnoses. We do this for thousands of children every year through experiences we call Stora Dagar. A Big Day gives strength to keep fighting in a tough everyday life. Yasuragi contributes with stays at Yasuragi for children who want a spa experience or like Japanese a little extra. Sometimes it's just the desire to have time in peace and quiet with your family or friends.
