QIGONG - 8 SILK MOVES

An easy series of qigong exercises for beginners as well as experienced practitioners of qigong. The name silk refers to the fact that the movements should be as soft and fine as the silk used in a brocade. This is one of the most popular qigong methods originating from China and dating back nearly 1000 years. As the name suggests, there are eight qigong moves developed by the Chinese general and hero Yue Fei as a form of training for his soldiers. According to this ancient knowledge, Yue Fei taught these exercises to his soldiers to keep their bodies strong, healthy, and prepared for battle. It works with our energy flow through meridians called ki in Japanese, which affects our mental and physical health.

Duration: 30 or 45 minutes with Do-In as warm-up.
