YinYoga with Cupping

Dagligen: kl. 07.45 - 08.30 & 15.15 - 16.00

Pris: 50 SEK per person for pre-booking

Yin yoga involves positions with a gentle, soft stretch, performed in stillness and with deep presence. Each pose is held for at least 3–5 minutes, giving you time to quiet the mind and listen to your body. Here, we focus on the body's fascia and connective tissue rather than the muscles. During the session, cupping is also used, where you place silicone cups on different parts of the body for 3–5 minutes. This is an effective way to increase blood circulation in tight muscles and further soften the connective tissue in tense areas.

To guarantee your spot for our highly popular Yin Yoga with Cupping, we recommend pre-booking your place when you book your stay.

Lymph Flow & DoIn

Dagligen: kl. 13.15 - 13.45 & 19.30 - 20.15

A session for anyone who wants to learn simple exercises to strengthen their lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is sometimes referred to as the forgotten system. The goal of this class is to give you a foundational understanding of this vital part of our immune health, along with simple tools you can easily use in your daily routine.

When the lymphatic system isn't functioning properly, you may experience symptoms such as:

  • Fatigue and a feeling of heaviness in the body
  • Swelling in various parts of the body
  • Aches and stiffness in muscles and joints
  • A weakened immune system
  • Reduced skin quality (e.g., cellulite)

Since the lymphatic system does not have its own "pump" (like the heart does for blood), it relies on muscle movement, deep breathing, and external stimulation (such as massage or sauna baths) to circulate lymphatic fluid. Actively stimulating it is therefore key to good health and overall well-being.

EFT | Tapping

Dagligen: kl. 07.45 - 08.30 & 15.15 - 16.00

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), often called Tapping, is a gentle and effective method to reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and release mental and physical tension. Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine and modern psychology, it is often simply described as acupuncture without needles.

By using your fingertips, you gently tap on about ten selected acupressure points on the face and upper body while focusing on a specific feeling, thought, or physical sensation. The light tapping sends calming signals directly to the brain's stress center (the amygdala), helping the body shift quickly from a "fight or flight" response into deep relaxation.

What you will experience during the session:

During these 15 minutes, you will receive a practical introduction to the method. Together, we will walk through the tapping points and complete a guided exercise to quiet mental chatter, ease tension, and ground yourself in your body.

Benefits of EFT:

  • Reduces stress levels and eases internal anxiety.
  • Helps the body release physical blockages and tension headaches.
  • Creates mental clarity and emotional balance.
  • Provides a simple, powerful tool you can take with you to use on your own in daily life.

No prior experience or outfit change is required—you can join in your regular clothes, yukata, or bathrobe. A perfect afternoon break to recharge your batteries.

Zenmeditation

Dagligen: kl. 20:30- 21.10

End the day with this ancient meditation practice. Zen meditation, or Zazen (坐禅)—which means "seated meditation" (Za = sit, Zen = meditation)—is the core form of meditation in the practice of Zen Buddhism. It is an exercise in observing what is, grounding yourself in the present moment, and cultivating deeper awareness.

You will learn the proper posture for sitting and how to settle into a state of calm and presence. The focus is placed on breathing and posture, and you will also receive tips on how to continue your meditation practice at home.

The positive effects of meditation

Meditation has a number of proven long-term positive effects on various functions in your body. And the more you practice, the better the effect. Just 8 minutes of meditation a day will make a big difference.
Some of the positive effects seen from regular meditation include reduced inflammation, strengthened immune system, and improved sleep (especially deep sleep). Meditating is a good habit that will balance your nervous system by activating the parasympathetic nervous system where all mental and physical recovery takes place. It is an excellent tool for learning to manage stress and be present in the moment. These are just a few of the positive effects meditation has on our body, brain, and well-being.

Meditation is brain training

At Yasuragi, you have the opportunity to try different forms of meditation. The form that is closest to our hearts, however, is the Zen Buddhist Zen meditation, also called zazen.

Research shows that people who meditate regularly are not as controlled by their emotions and have a better ability to see events and occurrences objectively. Zen meditation is one of the oldest and most proven techniques for practicing presence and mental calmness. You will also receive some tips on how you can continue meditating at home. Do as the ancient Zen monks!
