Namiyama is a Japanese name composed of the kanji for nami (wave) and yama (mountain). Nami can mean waves, but also the ripples on water. The ripples on the water symbolize the tranquility and harmony of nature through the smooth water surface reflecting the Japanese mountains in the background.

Do you know what sushi means?

Sushi 寿司, 鮨, 鮓, or すし is a Japanese dish consisting of cooked short-grain rice seasoned with a vinegar mixture and combined with other ingredients, typically fish (raw or cooked), roe, and/or shellfish.

The word sushi comes from a conjugation of the adjective 酸い (sui), which means sour. A common misconception is that sushi is synonymous with raw fish, which is not accurate, as raw fish in Japanese restaurants is called sashimi.
